After the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people on April 22, the Instagram accounts of celebrities like Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, and others showed the message "Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content." Apart from that, 16 Pakistani YouTube channels were banned, leaving netizens shocked.

Indian Army’s official handle had earlier posted, “Justice is served. Jai Hind," as they confirmed the action. Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar reacted to the same and praised the armed forces. The army emphasised that the strikes were carefully calibrated to avoid escalation and they did not target any Pakistani military facilities.

As per sources, the Indian Armed Forces’ Operation Sindoor has killed at least 17 terrorists and left 60 injured. Operation Sindoor targeted key terror infrastructure across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan which includes areas like Kotli, Ahmadpur Sharqia, Muzaffarabad, Muridke, and Faisalabad.
