The duo came close in the year 1983 when both were working on the sets of the film titled Sautan. Kaka expressed his bond with Tina in an interview. He revealed that he and Tina use the same toothbrush, showcasing their love. Their bond took an unexpected turn when Tina demanded that Rajesh Khanna end his relationship with Dimple and marry her.
