On Tuesday, May 5th, Bollywood's 'King' Shah Rukh Khan created history as he became the first Indian male actor to attend the Met Gala, one of Hollywood's most prestigious fashion events. Before attending the fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, King Khan decided to greet his fans who were gathered outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.
In a video now making rounds on the internet and social media, a journalist intrigued by his appearance asked the Bollywood star, "Who are you?" to which the superstar actor replied with a smile and a humble tone, "I am Shah Rukh Khan." Since the release of this video, King Khan's fans worldwide have been swooning over the actor's humble and grounded attitude.

Some fans even took to social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Naam hi kaafi hai" (the name itself is enough), while another fan wrote, "Three words are enough," emphasizing the fan following Shah Rukh Khan enjoys globally. Another fan wrote, "Just three letters, but the world stops."
The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, made his Met Gala debut this year with an iconic fit designed by Indian fashion maestro Sabyasachi himself. The actor sported a full, floor-length, elongated black coat crafted from superfine Tasmanian wool. The coat also featured monogrammed Japanese horn buttons, a single-breasted design, a sharp peak collar, and wide lapels.
