The theme of Met Gala 2025 is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style inspired by Monica L Miller's book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The dress code is 'Tailored for You' and this is the first Met Gala to focus exclusively on menswear.

However, Diljit Dosanjh has been stealing the limelight. He has made his Met Gala debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani. He proudly represented Indian culture with his outfit. His 'Maharaja of Punjab' look made everyone fall in love with him. His outfit was designed by Prabal Gurung.
He opted for a white royal look. His white cape had Punjabi words written. His royal neck piece was studded with rubies and emeralds. His turban also had these gorgeous jewels. The singer also held a sword in his hand as he walked the blue carpet.

MET Gala 2025 was co-chaired by singer Pharrell Williams, F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, actor Colman Domingo and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Basketball legend LeBron James was the honorary co-chair.
