Fans were totally hyped and excited about the reunion of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar on the Bigg Boss 18 grand finale this Sunday. But that dream didn’t turn into reality. Akshay - who was all set to be the special guest to promote Sky Force had showed up on time to shoot his segment with Salman. But the ‘Dabangg’ star was late. Akshay had waited around for over one hour, but left eventually.
If reports are to be believed, Akshay had reached the Bigg Boss 18 set at 2:15 PM, and waited for over an hour. It was reported that Salman arrived at the venue at 6:30 pm. As reported by Hindustan Times, Akshay and Salman chatted on the phone and reached an understanding regarding future appearances. They agreed to appear together on the show later.

“Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time,” the source was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Salman Khan too addressed the incident during the show. He said, ‘Hum late hue… Akshay ka dusra function tha’. While Akshay Kumar was missing from the action, his co-star Veer Pahariya who makes his debut with Skyforce, stayed back to promote the film.

At the Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale, Eisha Singh was the first contestant who was eliminated from the race for the coveted trophy. The twist? Veer Pahariya was the one given the responsibility to carry on the task that sealed her fate. After her journey ended, Eisha had a heartfelt reunion with her family and host Salman Khan on stage. The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 had kicked off at 9:30 pm tonight. The six finalists of the season included Vivian DSena, Rajat Dalal, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra.
