Another TV serial is headed for a leap. It is not uncommon in TV industry. Makers of many big shows have introduced generational leaps in order to boost the TRPs of the show. Now, TV serial Jhanak is going to witness the same. Currently, Krushal Ahuja and Hiba Nawab are playing the leads. They play Aniruddha and Jhanak respectively. However, their story is coming to an end and the show is going to take a leap of 20 years. Not just Krushal and Hiba, another actress is also going to quit the show post leap.
The actress is Kajal Pisal. In an interview with entertainment news portal Etimes, Kajal Pisal confirmed that she is going to exit Jhanak post the leap. In fact, she also revealed that the entire cast will be replaced in the show. She shared details of upcoming story and mentioned that fans will get to see two leaps taking place in Jhanak in coming months. She was quoted saying, "Yes, the show is going to take a five-year leap soon in May, and then a 20-year leap in June. After that, all the actors, including me, will be replaced. I still don’t know when our last working date is, but this is what I know for now." The actress mentioned that she will miss the entire cast of Jhanak and her experience was best on the show.

It was back in February that Hiba Nawab had spoken about the show undergoing a massive leap. She had confirmed that she would be quitting the show as the story will go further by 20 years. She had mentioned that she won't look convincing as a 45-yearold woman and hence she would be marking her exit. However, later, due to IPL 2025, the makers decided to push the plans further. Thus, Jhanak and Aniruddha' story got an extension. It remains to be seen how there story comes to an end before the leap.
