Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan has a huge fan following. He has been in the news since yesterday. He met with a major accident yesterday in Ahmedabad at around 3:40 AM on Monday. He has sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital immediately. He was travelling with a friend Ajay Mehra and driver Rahul Singh. They all have been seriously injured. At first, they were taken to a nearby hospital and he was then taken to Fortis hospital. Pawandeep Rajan has sustained multiple fractures but is stable now. He has to undergo multiple surgeries and is currently under orthopedic care in the hospital.
When the accident news was reported, many videos of Pawandeep Rajan went viral. He was seen in the hospital in a serious condition and the doctors were treating him. However, his family members are upset with the videos. Pawandeep's sister, Jyotideep Rajan took to Instagram stories to request everyone to stop sharing these videos.

She wrote, "We are saddened to inform you all that Pawan has met with an tragic accident this morning and he's been hospitalised. We kindly request all to not share any pictures and videos of him in that condition, this really puts the family and friends in grief. And to all the fans please pray for his speedy recovery." Yesterday, Fortis hospital released a statement about Pawandeeep's health. The statement read, "The statement by Fortis read, “Pawandeep Rajan has been admitted to Fortis Hospital, Noida, under the care of the orthopaedics team following a road traffic accident that resulted in multiple limb fractures. He is currently stable and conscious. As part of his treatment plan, he will be undergoing a series of sequential surgeries. Our clinical team is closely monitoring his condition and providing all necessary medical care."
Pawandeep Rajan won Indian Idol 12 in 2021. He defeated Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, Nihal Tauro and Shanmukha Priya.
