In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Gaurav Khanna opened up about his journey and revealed how he became an actor. In the video that has now gone viral on social media, Gaurav Khanna explained that he came to Bombay to do his MBA. He studied for two years and then did a job in his field. He was living in Versova back then and people thought that he was an aspiring model. He added that he once went to drop his friend for an audition. He was waiting for him and it started raining. Gaurav Khanna then went inside to take shelter. By chance he was then called to give the audition. He said, "Unhone kahan audition dedo, meine kahan mujhe audition toh aata nahi. Unhone kahan profile dedo, meine kahan vo toh mein laya nahi. Mujhe pata hi nahi iss industry ke jargons kya hai." He added that he had no inclination to be an actor but he cracked that audition and got the advertisement.
