Hania Aamir has been making headlines after her Instagram account was blocked in India, following the Pahalgam terror attack. Other Pakistani celebrities, including Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, and Sanam Saeed, also faced similar restrictions.
This restriction has not just been imposed on Pakistani actors but also several Pakistani drama channels, including some popular names like ARY Digital, Hum TV, and others. India has restricted the operations of these YouTube channels in India due to security concerns.
Amidst the restrictions, news broke on the internet where an Instagram user named Awais recently shared a story offering access to Pakistani shows and other content to Indian viewers for a specific price.
Awais' post reads, “Hania Aamir ki full HD pictures ya kisi bhi Pakistani drama ki episodes downloaded chahiye to raabta karein. Rs 25 per episode.” The story immediately went viral on the internet, many believing it to be a joke.

Popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir found herself at the center of controversy after a fake quote attributed to her started circulating online, allegedly addressing the ban and criticizing the Pakistani army and terrorists.
However, Hania immediately took to her Instagram to clarify the false claims that are being circulated about her. She said that the fabricated statement has misrepresented her views. She expressed her condolences for the innocent lives lost in the Pahalgam attack and emphasized the need for empathy and compassion.
Hania’s long post reads, Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe. That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy—not politicization.
