Kim Soo Hyun's agency, GoldMedalist, has filed a legal lawsuit for the second time for continuous stalking and spreading false information about the actor.
The controversy between the Queen of Tears actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late Bloodhound actress Kim Sae Ron will not end soon. Kim Soo Hyun and his agency, GoldMedalist, have filed a lawsuit against Kim Se Eui, the operator of the YouTube channel GaroSero Research Institute.
K-media reported that the agency revealed the development of the ongoing legal and public dispute between Kim Soo Hyun and GaroSero on April 30. It has been among the numerous complaints against YouTuber in just two months.
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency released a statement. It read as, GOLDMEDALIST and actor Kim Soo Hyun have filed an additional complaint and accusation today against Kim Se Eui, the operator of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute for violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
This is the second stalking complaint filed by the actor with a legal representative from LKB & Partners. The first complaint was filed on April 1. In their recent statement, GoldMedalist explained the reason behind the lawsuits.
The agency stated, The basis for this was that Kim Se Eui’s continuous and repeated dissemination of false information about Kim Soo Hyun constituted a stalking crime against the actor.
The Seoul Central District Court ruled on April 22 that Kim Se Eui's actions constituted stalking against Kim Soo Hyun, and the following day, the court accepted a request for a provisional measure against Kim Se Eui.
On April 24, Kim Se Eui was allegedly notified of the same. However, he ignored the court's decision and continues to spread false information about actor Kim Soo Hyun through his YouTube channel.
The agency stated that the YouTuber's actions disregard the court's ruling, making him liable for criminal punishment, including up to 2 years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won under the Stalking Punishment Act.
