As per reports, Esha Deol got into a fight with Amrita Rao while shooting for Pyaare Mohan. The conflict between the two actresses became one of the most talked about controversies of the 2000s.
Reportedly, Esha Deol slapped co-star Amrita Rao while shooting for a film together. After slapping the actress, Esha claimed that she didn’t regret her aggressive act. Both the actresses kept quiet on the matter for a while but doing a random conversation Esha opened up about the case.
In a conversation with Times of India, Esha revealed that Amrita allegedly misbehaved with her in front of crew and the director Indra Kumar after the pack-up. As per Esha, Amrita’s act made her feel extremely disrespected and what she did was her natural reaction.
Esha said, Yes, I slapped her because she crossed a line. It was a matter of self-respect. I have no regrets because, at that moment, she deserved it for her behaviour. She further said that her reaction was an emotional response and stressed on the typical behavior by Amrita.
Esha revealed that after the incident Amrita realized her mistake and later apologized. Esha said, She apologized to me, and I forgave her. Everything is fine between us now.
Amrita and Esha have not collaborated since that specific incident, however, Esha Deol expressed confidence there would be professionalism if she and Amrita Rao work together again in future projects.
