The film was released on 18 April 2025, marking the 106th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film is a sequel to Kesari (2019). The film is made on a budget of Rs 150 crore.
Coming to his personal life, Akshay Kumar married Twinkle Khanna on 17 January 2001, and the couple has a total of two children, a son named Aarav Kumar and a daughter named Nitara Kumar.
