Ormax Media recently shared the list of Most popular male film stars in India for the month on February 2025. It does not come as a surprise that seven of South Indian actors have made it to the list. Only three Bollywood actors have found a space on this list. While Bollywood is struggling at the box office, it seems, South stars are ahead of B-towners even in terms of popularity. Check out the full list below.
The first spot is taken up by 'Darling' Prabhas. The Kalki 2898 AD is still ruling the hearts of the masses despite big failures like Adipurush, Radhe Shyam and more. He is considered to be one of the highest-paid stars in India. As per reports, he charges around Rs 120 crore per film. He was also the first South actor to have had a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Bangkok.
The second on the list is Thalapathy Vijay. The actor's latest movies like Leo and others have turned out to be box office hits. The actor's last movie will be Jana Nayagan before he becomes a full-time politician. The film will release in 2026.
The third on the list is Allu Arjun and there are no surprises there. Many are still high on Pushpa 2 fever. The film that released in December last year broke several records at the box office. It is now among the highest grossing movies ever.
The fourth spot is taken by Shah Rukh Khan. The King of Bollywood needs no introduction. He is loved and always will be loved by his millions of fans. After three fabulous successes with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan's next movie will be KING.
The fifth spot has be taken by Ram Charan. The RRR actor is in news currently as the title of his upcoming movie has been unveiled by the makers. The film helmed by Buchi Babu Sana has been titled as Peddi.
The next three spots have been taken by South stars only. Mahesh Babu, Ajith Kumar and Jr NTR take up sixth, seventh and eighth spot respectively. The three stars have managed to become pan-India stars with high-budget hits.
The last two spots have Bollywood stars - Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. Salman is currently enjoying the positive reviews coming in for his latest movie Sikandar. Akshay Kumar is in the news as Kesari Chapter 2 was recently announced. Fans loved the first look of the film.
