A video of Kangana Ranaut has been shared on an Instagram account where she reveals that she was offered the role of Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Padmaavat. She asked the director about the heroine’s role and he replied that there was no script and that the hero would watch her as she got ready in front of the mirror.
Kangana who is known for her fierce avatar and bold statements, said that she eventually watched the film, she felt that all the female characters were just getting ready throughout the movie.

Deepika was appreciated and lauded for her exceptional performance in the film. Padmaavat became one of the biggest blockbusters of 2018. Padmaavat faced significant controversy and protests before its release.
