Akshay Kumar was among the first few from Bollywood to react to the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack. On April 22, terrorists opened fired at innocent tourists in Pahalgam leaving 26 dead. Several got injured in the terror attack. Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and many more Bollywood actors took to social media to condemn the attack. Now, Akshay Kumar showed up at a theatres screening Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. He met the fans and strongly reacted to Pahalgam Terror Attack.
The video of Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan from the theatres has now gone viral. Akshay reacted to the Pahalgam Terror Attack and mentioned that there is a lot of anger among people. He said, "Unfortunately, that anger in hearts has awakened again. You all know what I am talking about. Today also, we only have one thing to say to those terrorists, that's what I have said through this film..," before turning the mic toward the audience. The viewers swiftly chanted 'F**k you' as that is a prominent dialogue of Akshay Kumar in the film. The video has caught everyone's attention.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar has penned a note on X (formerly known as Twitter) saying, "Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families."
Talking about Kesari Chapter 2, the movie is doing well at the box office. The second Saturday box office numbers are almost on par with its opening day numbers. As per Sacnilk.com, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh made around Rs 7 crore at the box office on its day 9. The total collection has crossed the mark of R 50 crore. It is a historical courtroom drama that also stars Ananya Panday. The movie is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and is based on lawyer C Shankaran Nair.
