As per Sacanilk, Kesari 2 has collected Rs 15 crore worldwide on the first day of its release. Reportedly, on the second day the collection didn’t see a fall and the film continued to do a business of Rs 15 crore at the worldwide box office.
With this Kesari 2 has entered the Rs 30 crore club combining its first and second day worldwide collection. The film continued to break records and has registered its name in 7th highest grossing film of the year 2025.
In terms of earnings, Akshay Kumar's courtroom drama has beaten the lifetime worldwide collection of Kangana Ranaut's period-drama Emergency which was released on January 17 and did a total business of Rs 23.75 crore at the worldwide box office.
Kesari 2 has not just impressed with its worldwide box office collection but has also reportedly recovered one fifth of its budget in just two days. As per reports, Akshay Kumar’s film was made with a budget of Rs 150 crore.
Kesari 2 highlights the story of the legal battle that ensued after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Akshay Kumar slays his role as a lawyer and his performance in the film is highly appreciated. Along with Akshay, Ananya and R Madhavan also play a pivotal role in the film.
