Recently, Salman Khan while promoting for his upcoming film Sikandar which is set to release on March 30 was asked about nepotism to which he made an epic reply. Salman said, “Ab Kangana ki beti aayengi, to films krengi ya politics join krengi (Kangana's daughter will come, will she do films or join politics)”
Alia Bhatt daughter of Mahesh Bhatt spoke about nepotism and said, “I have realised that there is no need to defend the nepotistic nature of the industry because it does exist. The reason why it has become an emotional debate is because those who don’t get a chance, it is difficult for them. If I was on the other side, I would be heartbroken. I may have felt the same way.”
Ranbir Kapoor made his statement on nepotism and said, “I am a ‘disarming’ product of it. Of course it exists. My great-grandfather worked hard so that he could give his children the opportunity to do something in life.So on and so forth and it came to me. When I have children, I would like them to have that opportunity and then see how good they are.”
The perfectionist, Aamir Khan when asked about nepotism relating to his son Junaid, he said that if someone knows work, nothing can stop them and if they don’t know anything then they couldn’t ever do anything despite being the son or daughter of famous actors.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan gave his opinion of nepotism and said, “I don't understand this (nepotism). How can I understand it? I am a Delhi boy, who went to Mumbai at the age of 25. There everybody loved me and accepted me. So, I don't understand this talk.
The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar said, “I didn't even know the meaning of nepotism. I asked my wife (Twinkle Khanna) then she explained it to me. Then I saw the whole fighting. When I came into the industry, I had no idea, I just wanted to earn money.
