Karan Johar recently took an indirect dig at Parineeti Chopra over her claims where she mentioned having a bad PR game as he often keeps herself away from the parties where the work opportunities are created. Parineeti in her interviews mentioned that how there may be no nepotism but favouritism is real. But seems like, these statements against the industry didn't go well with the filmmaker and he recently spoke about it in his chat with Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor.

Karan Johar claims he hasn't given an y role to any actor at any parties till date
In his chat without taking Chamkila actress's name, Karan highlighted her point and mentioned, that many have spoken about losing films to star kids or getting roles at parties, Karan refrained from these claims and said that he hadn't offered anyone a role at a party and Janhvi Kapoor who was present at the chat agreed with him. Karan even added that he actually doesn't remember giving anyone a role at a party.

Rajkummar added that when he was new even he was advised to attend these parties to create contacts, but you cannot go to these parties and say,' Hey, I am here for contact'. Karan then questioned the Mr and Mrs Mahi actor if he had ever seen anyone getting a role at a party to which Raj strongly denied it.
Parineeti in her interview had stated that her PR game sucks and that's her big problem and mentioned being bad at the right places at lunches and dinners where projects are created, and even added that she's bad at creating unnecessary relationships.
Karan Johar is often accused of being extremely biased towards Alia Bhatt and giving her the backing and opportunities that no one else gets in the industry.
