Film stars charge crore for a cameo
Indian celebrities' fees for an appearance in a film are reaching sky-high. In recent past actors charged Rs 100 crore to Rs 150 crore for a movie. Vijay Sethupathi became highest paid actor receiving Rs 200 crore for his next project. And now we have learned that Kamal Haasan has charged a whopping price for playing a cameo in Prabhas starrer Project K. His fees his so high that it could be equivalent to a small-time actor’s total fees per movie. Here we have noted down Bollywood celebs who charge a bomb for featuring in a special appearance.
Kamal Haasan
Kamal Haasan has collaborated with Prabhas for a special role in the much-awaited Project K. The veteran actor is said to play a brief negative role in Nag Ashwin's directorial. Reportedly, he has charged Rs 25 crore for a role that would last only few minutes.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt played a brief role in RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. She reportedly charged Rs 9 crore for playing wife of Ram Charan in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus.

Ajay Devgn
Ajay Devgn charged Rs 11 crore for playing the short role of Rahim Lala in Gangubai Kathiawadi. He also charged Rs 35 crore for a cameo in RRR.
Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput refused Rs 5 crore for his special appearance in Anushka Sharma and Aamir Khan’s PK. The actor wanted to star in Rajkumar Hirani’s film and when he got the opportunity he didn’t want to charge fees. However, out of respect, he took a paycheck of 21 rupees.
Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar made a special appearance in Atrangi Re starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. He took home Rs 27 crore for 30-40 minutes role.

Huma Qureshi
Huma Qureshi featured in a special appearance as Dilruba in Gangubai Kathiawadi and for the same, she charged approximately RS 2 crore.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan played a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Pathaan. Reportedly, he did not charge a single penny for his work.
Dimple Kapadia
Dimple Kapadia made a brief appearance in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s fantasy adventure film Brahmastra. She reportedly charged Rs 1-2 crore.

Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan appeared as a journalist in R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The superstar did not charge any fee for his screen time.
