Pooja Deol and Tanya Deol are the daughters-in-law of Bollywood superstar Dharmendra. However, they have stayed away from the glitz and glamour of the media. However, there is a third daughter-in-law who is from the Deol family, an actress who ruled the screen in the 90s. She was a well-known figure in the film industry and was a popular household name in the Doordarshan show. She worked extensively in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films.

Her first on-screen appearance was in Sanjay Gupta’s Ram Shastra. After a rocky start with a few early films that struggled at the box office, her luck changed with a role in the Aamir Khan-starrer "Mann," which earned Rs 35.45 crore and became a significant hit.

The actress we are talking about is Deepti Bhatnagar. She was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and moved to Mumbai to find an advertisement agency to promote her family’s handicraft factory. She got an opportunity to sign for an ad agency to model for the Roopmilan saris' press ad, and then she never looked back. She won the Miss India title in 1990 when she was 18 years old. Deepti also hosted Star Plus’ ‘Musafir Hoon Yaron‘ where she met the director of the show, Randeep Arya. They got married and have two sons.

Deepti Bhatnagar's debut movie was Ram Shastra (1995). She starred alongside Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, and Aditya Pancholi. The film was directed by Sanjay Gupta. Later, Deepti landed a dance role in Salman Khan's 2001 film "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke", which went on to gross Rs 149 crore worldwide.

Deepti Bhatnagar married Randeep Arya, who is the son of the late Veerendra and and late Pammi Varinder. Arya is the nephew of actor Dharmendra. This makes Randeep the cousin of Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Abhay Deol, and Esha Deol. Notably, Veerendra and Dharmendra's brother, Kanwar Ajit Singh, married two sisters on the same day, making Deepti the daughter-in-law of Dharmendra's family.
