Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn is an Indian actor-director-producer and the son of director and action director Veeru Devgn. He married film actress Kajol in 1999 and fathered two children. He started his Bollywood career in 1991, with Phool aur Kaante, which went on to become a box office success and won him the Filmfare award for best male debut. Following this, he bagged various other awards throughout his career, including a National Award for Zakhm. He has starred in more than 80 films, his most recent being, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns. Over the years Ajay has established himself as a serious actor and is one of the highest paid actors of Bollywood. In addition, he also started his production company, Ajay Devgn films, in 2000. He directed the film U, me aur Hum, which was an average movie.

He has so far received a total of 32 awards for his performance in films, including two National Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards, a Zee Cine Award, Screen Awards and Stardust Awards. Apart from the acting awards, Devgan has won several awards including Achievement in Bollywood, Rajiv Gandhi Awards at ETC, 2010 Most Profitable Celebrity at the ETC Bollywood Business Awards, Jasrat Award, NDTV Actor of the Year and Padma Shri Awards.

Ajay Devgn is married to popular Bollywood actress Kajol. Ajay and Kajol was first seen in the 1995 film 'Hulchul'. After this, Kajol became a big star in the film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' released in 1995. But by then there's was no love relationship between them. During the shooting of the 1998 film Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, both of them started getting closer and decided to get married. After this, both of them did not delay and got married in a very common wedding ceremony in 1999 in a Maharashtrian way.
