An event has been held to honour legendary Raj Kapoor as December 14 will be the 100th birth anniversary. Some of the biggies from Bollywood will attend the event.
December 14, 2024 marks the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor Raj Kapoor. He was called The Greatest Showman of Indian Cinema. His incredible contribution to cinema took the Indian art to global stage. On the 100th birth anniversary, R.K. Films, the Film Heritage Foundation, and NFDC-National Film Archive of India have planned an event to celebrate the legacy of Raj Kapoor. 10 movies of Raj Kapoor will be screened across 40 cities and 135 cinemas.
At the event, it is expected that many top celebrities from the industry will mark attendance. Of course, the Kapoor-khandaan will be there. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Kapoor and many more will be present. The Kapoors have also extended an invitation to PM Narendra Modi.
As per a report in News18, a lot of Bollywood celebrities will be seen at the event held in Andheri, Mumbai. Aamir Khan is one name on the guest list. Mr Perfectionist is expected to attend the event.
Hrithik Roshan is also on the guest list. The actor shares a great rapport with the Kapoors. It remains to be seen if his GF Saba Azad will be accompany him or not.
Kartik Aaryan who has made a space for himself in industry is also on the guest list as per the report. He is currently basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Anil Kapoor who has been entertaining the masses for decades will also be a part of the event that will honour Raj Kapoor.
Filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Raj Kumar Hirani will also be present at the event. They have worked with stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and more of the Kapoor family.
Karan Johar is one of the closest to the Kapoor family. He shares a great bond with all including Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and more.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are also on the guest list. The stars have attained great fame over the past year.
Legendary actress Rekha will grace the event and add the charm. She will attend the event to honour legendary Raj Kapoor.
