Hrithik Roshan

Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan was born to Rakesh and Pinky Roshan on January 10, 1974. Rakesh is a Bollywood actor and filmmaker and the son of famous music composer Roshan Nagrath. Pinky is the daughter of famous filmmaker J Om Prakash. Hrithik Roshan studied at Bombay Scottish School and completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai. He then worked his way up the ladder in his family’s production house.

From sweeping the sets during Khel to playing Rajinikanth’s son in Bhagwan Dada to assisting his father in Karan Arjun and Koyla, Hrithik Roshan was involved in every aspect of filmmaking, before he debuted as the lead in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. The film was an unprecedented success at the box office. On 20 December 2000, he wed longtime sweetheart Sussanne Khan – daughter of veteran actor Sanjay and Zarine Khan. He has two sons – Hrehaan and Hredaan.

Following his impeccable performances from 2002 to 2003, Hrithik Roshan starred in the blockbusters Koi Mil Gaya (2003) and its sequel Krrish (2006), both of which won him numerous Best Actor awards. Roshan received his third Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 2, and his fourth for Jodhaa Akbar for which he was also awarded at the Golden Minbar International Film Festival. He later received further acclaim for his work in Guzaarish (2010), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), and Agneepath (2012), his biggest commercial success so far.

In 2011, Hrithik made his television debut as a judge of the new dance show, Just Dance. Hrithik’s encouraging comments and his dancing skills helped him instantly connect with both the audience and the contestants. The show was one of the top-rated ones during the time it was on the air.

Besides acting, Hrithik Roshan made his debut as a Bollywood singer in Kites and has also sung in the films Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Guzaarish.
