Rahul admitted that he simply respects Ranbir as a good father who cares for his step-sister, Alia Bhatt and said, “Acting? Pata nahi mujhe kuch samajh mein nahi aata hai… acting kaun hai, actor kaun hai, Animal kaun hai, Kapoor kaun hai? Mere ko kuch fark nahi padta. He is a good father. That’s it. He loves his daughter. He respects my step sister. Everything else is all supplementary.”
Rahul also revealed that Ranbir had reached out to him for his preparation for the film, Animal. For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's blockbuster film.
Remembering the incident Rahul said, During the preparation for Animal, he had some questions. He was heading to Abu Dhabi for weapons training and asked me if it was a good place. He's very sincere and curious. I've known him since he was a kid. He went to Bombay Scottish, and I was in Arya Mandir.
