Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming mythological film - Ramayana - is a dream project. Every one is waiting for this one with bated breath as there are high expectations from the film. Ranbir Kapoor is going to play the role of Lord Ram. KGF star Yash will be seen in the character of Ravana. Many other celebrities have joined the cast.
In recent times, Sunny Deol also confirmed that he is a part of Ramayana. He is going to seen in the role of Lord Hanuman. He mentioned that it is going to be one of the 'mega films'. However, despite so much buzz, there is one actor who allegedly rejected a role in Ramayana.
The actor is Jaideep Ahlawat. He is currently one of the most popular stars as he is churning out back-to-back hit projects. His next is Jewel Thief and his dance moves have got everyone waiting for the film.
As per a report in ETimes, Jaideep Ahlawat was approached by the makers of Ramayana with a key role. However, the actor couldn't take up the film as he is running on a busy schedule.
Reportedly, he was offered the role of Ravana's younger brother Vibhishan. He was keen on taking up the film but he had to decline due to date issues.
However, another report in Money Control suggests that these reports are not true. A source informed the portal that the Pataal Lok actor was never approached for a role in Ramayana.
There are reports suggesting that South star Vijay Sethupathi was approached for the role of Vibhishan. However, there has been no confirmation as yet on the actor.
Sai Pallavi is going to play the role of Sita in this one. Kunal Kapoor is said to be playing the role of Lord Indra in the film. We await more updates.
