Ranbir Kapoor makes a SHOCKING revelation about Alia Bhatt not being his first wife, says a girl 'came with a pandit and...'

Ranbir Kapoor got married to Alia Bhatt in April 2022, after dating her since 2018 and the two have a lovely daughter Raha. They are clearly one of the most adorable families in the showbiz industry.

Recently, Ranbir made a shocking revelation about not yet meeting his 'first wife'. He was already 'married' but not in the way one would expect. He has a fairytale wedding with Alia, and she is not his first wife.

In an interview with Mashable India, Ranbir said that he had an unusual fan encounter from his early years in the industry. A diehard fan of his took her admiration to another level by performing a wedding ritual at the gate of his family home.

Ranbir said “I wouldn’t say craziest, as it is used in a negative way, but I remember, in my early years, there was a girl—I never met her—but my watchman told me that she came with a pandit and married my gate. At the bungalow where I lived with my parents, there was tika on the gate and some flowers. I was out of town at the time, I think, so that was quite crazy. I haven’t yet met my first wife, so I look forward to meeting you at some point.”

When Alia was only 11 she saw Ranbir working as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Black. In 2014, when Alia made her Bollywood debut and during an interaction on the sets of Koffee With Karan, she expressed her desire to marry the actor.

Alia also shared that when they were once on a flight heading for the shooting of Brahmastra. She said, When I was single after a very long time, everyone around me, my sis and friends said you and he (Ranbir) are going to be together. We talked about it on our flight. We were seated together and then something went wrong with his seat. Later his seat got fixed and when we exchanged notes. The vibe started there only and the rest is history.

Ranbir Kapoor once quipped at a press event that marriage, like his to Alia, is comparable to eating dal chawal daily - a humorous take on the routine of married life, referencing his iconic film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
