The Indian cricketer Shubman Gill finally breaks silence on the dating rumours that has been going on for a while and says he has never met the individuals in his real life.
Indian cricketer Shubman Gill is known for his talent in the field and his performance. However, in the past years, he has been making headlines about dating Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan and even Avneet Kaur.
Some of his fans even shouted Sara Tendulkar’s name on the field. Now, finally, Shubman Gill broke his silence on the rumours of being romantically involved with any of them.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Shubman talked about those rumours and called them ridiculous. He even laughed off at the thought of being romantically involved with any of them.
Shubman Gill denied the dating rumors, stating he's never even met the individuals in his real life and said, There have been so many rumours and speculations linking me with different people. And sometimes, it would be so ridiculous that I’ve never seen or met that person ever in my life.
Shubman Gill attributed the lack of romance in his life to his busy schedule, saying he's always traveling and focused on his career, leaving no room for relationships.
He added, Right now, I’m so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There’s no space in my life to be able to be with someone. Three hundred days, we’re on the road, travelling somewhere. So there’s hardly any time to invest in a relationship with someone.
When Shubman Gill appeared on the Tanmay Bhat show along with Ed Sheeran in 2024, Ed asked Gill whether he had a girlfriend. To this, Shubman replied straight-facedly, ‘No.’ However, it was Ed Sheeran, who took a funny dig at the cricketer’s single status, and said, “On the market guys.”
In an episode with Koffee with Karan, Sara Ali Khan was asked about having an affair with the cricketer Shubman Gill, the audience cheered “Sara! Sara! However, Sara Ali Khan said, “You’ve got the wrong Sara, guys! Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechhe pada hai.
