Yes, you read it right! John Abraham was offered Housefull 5, but the actor rejected the comedy-drama. In an interview, he even stated why he did the same.
John Abraham told Times Now, I was approached for Housefull 5 but I chose not to do it. I felt there was a better space for me reserved somewhere else.
I would love to do a Garam Masala with Akshay (Kumar). Maybe something situational, a dark comedy or something exciting with him, he added.
John Abraham was last seen in the film The Diplomat, which was released in theatres last Friday.
On the other hand, along with Akshay Kumar, Housefull 5 also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Kharbanda, Fardeen Khan and others.
