Samridhii had once spoken to India Fourms about how her father pushed her to take up acting. She said, “Because of my voice work I would visit production houses often. And whenever people would see me, they'd ask me if i am an actor and I would tell them that I am a voice over artist and not an actor. But I think it was always destined to be an actor. I started auditioning and then much later in life my father pushed me to pursue the profession too. I realised that maybe looking at my face, people thought that I was cut out to be an actor and this is how the process started.''
Samridhii made her debut with the TV show, Saavi Ki Savari. Post that she was offered the lead role in Rajan Shahi’s iconic show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
She is currently seen as Abhira in the serial and her chemistry with Rohit Purohit has been loved. The jodi of Abhira and Armaan is the most favourite of the audience.
