Popular actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh enjoys a massive fanbase not just in India, but also across the globe. The singer-turned-actor is all set to add another crucial milestone to his impressive career. According to a report in India Today, the Punjabi superstar is gearing up to make his debut at the Met Gala this year.
As the report suggests, Diljit will be present at the event as a brand ambassador for Google Pixel. However, this report hasn't been officially confirmed by his team yet.

On the work front, Diljit has finished the UK schedule of his much-anticipated drama, Sardaar Ji 3. While confirming the update on social media, Diljit shared a blurred photo from the sets. While Diljit’s back faces the cameras, faces of the rest of the cast have been hidden with emojis. “Sardaar Ji UK shoot done", Diljit shared in the caption. He further mentioned, “This June". The singer even added his track “Tension" in the backdrop.
Diljit Dosanjh had also been busy with Dil-Luminati Tour which ended on December 31 with his live performance in Ludhiana. Diljit had announced the “grand finale” of his ongoing Dil-luminati tour via his official Facebook page. He had uploaded a story that said “Dil-Luminati Tour’s Finale Show in Ludhiana on New Year’s Eve– Tickets Live Tomorrow 2 pm IST, only on Zomato Live.”

Earlier, the India leg of the tour was supposed to end after Diljit's Guwahati show which took place on December 29, but the star left everyone surprised with his announcement. Why did Diljit conclude his India tour in Ludhiana? The star was born in Dosanjh Kalan village of Jalandhar. When Diljit was 11, he came to Ludhiana to live with his maternal uncle. While he was continued with his education, Diljit started his music career in Ludhiana as a teenager. It was in Ludhiana that his first music album Ishq Da Uda Uda was also recorded and released. During his school days, the singer would perform devotional songs and kirtan in the gurdwaras in Ludhiana.
