The actors have not addressed the rumours as yet. However, reports suggest that they have parted ways and have decided to stay friends. Amid this, the Lust Stories actress shared her idea of love in a recent interview.
In a podcast with Luke Coutinho, Tamannaah Bhatia mentioned that love has to be unconditional. She shared that people often confuse between love and relationship. She mentioned that love is an inside job and it cannot be conditional. It becomes a business transaction when there are expectations, she said. The actress was quoted saying, "I think people confuse between what love is and what a relationship is. The moment it is conditional, I feel it ceases to be love. Love can only be unconditional; it can only be ek tarfah (one-sided). Love is an inside job, it’s how you feel for someone. The moment you have expectations, you want people to do what you want them to be doing, then that's just a business transaction. I’ve realised if I have to love someone, I need to let them free, to be who they are."

Tamannaah Bhatia also shared that she has always felt much happier when she is in a relationship as compared to being single. She loves the feeling of having companionship. But she also shared that a person needs to choose wisely as to whom they are giving access and power to influence.
Tamannaah and Vijay's love story reportedly blossomed on the sets of Lust Stories 2. In one of the interview, Vijay revealed that it took him a month to ask Tamannaah on a date post the film wrapped up. It was Tamannaah who confirmed their relationship when she called him her 'happy space'. Their frequent outings together kept them in entertainment news all the time.
