This actress comes from a royal and famous family. Her mother is actress Moon Moon Sen and she is also the granddaughter of legendary actress Suchitra Sen.
We are talking about Riya Sen, who started acting as a child. When Riya was 5, she appeared in the 1991 film Vishkanya.
In 2001, Riya Sen became famous with the movie Style. Her role in this college comedy made her popular and well-known in Bollywood.
After Style, Riya Sen worked in several movies like Jhankaar Beats, Shaadi No.1, and Qayamat. She also worked in regional movies like the Malayalam film Ananthabhadram.
However, in 2005, a private video of Riya with actor Ashmit Patel caused major controversy. An MMS clip allegedly showing Riya with actor Ashmit was leaked. Both said the video was fake, but it still harmed her career.
After the MMS scandal, Bollywood opportunities decreased for Riya Sen and she worked in regional films. But Bollywood offers were not there for her anymore.
In 2017, Riya appeared in Ragini MMS: Returns, showing she was open to new types of roles. But that didn't lead to the actress getting more offers.
