Everyone is super excited to see the movie and know what will happen in the story next. However, there is a road block ahead for Risbah and Kantara 2. The shoot of the film is happening in Karnataka and a tragic incident took place on the sets. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon.
Tragic incident on the sets of Kantara 2
A junior artist named M.F. Kapil drowned in the Souparnika River near Kollur. As per reports, he had gone for a swim in the river during the lunch break. However, he was caught in a strong current and swept away. The search operation was started by the local authorities and fire department.

His body was found later in the evening. As per Mathrubhumi News, the incident took place on May 6 at around 3.45 pm. Reports also suggest that Kapil slipped and fell in the river. He was a resident of Moosarithara, Palliprathussery, on Vaikom TV Puram Road in Kerala. After his body was found, it was taken to Kundapura Government Hospital.
The police have registered a case but the production team of Kantara 2 has not shared any official statement. This is not the first time something like this has happened during the shoot of Rishab Shetty's Kantara. Earlier, in November, a minibus carrying 20 junior artists met with an accident while returning from a shoot. The shoot of the film halted after this incident. This is a big story in entertainment news.
Post that in January, some issues happened between the villagers and the crew of the film. A physical clash also happened after the villagers accused the team of using explosives in the forest without proper authorization.
