Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's much-awaited movie Chhaava released on February 14, 2025. The action-period drama directed by Laxman Utekar narrates the story of second ruler of the Maratha Confederacy - Sambhaji Maharaj. The film received only positive reviews and its impact is evident from the impressive box office numbers. Within just three days, Chhaava has managed to enter the impressive and coveted Rs 100 crore club, and emerged as the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 so far.
As per a report in Sacnilk.com, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava earned approximately Rs 48.5 crore on day 3, i.e., first Sunday. These are still the early estimates, but it witnessed a significant jump from its first Saturday numbers. On day 2, Chhaava made around Rs 37 crore. The film also turned to be the biggest opening ever for Vicky Kaushal. On day 1, it made around Rs 31 crore approximately. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 116.5 crore approximately. The film is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer has emerged as the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. It has been successful in surpassing the earnings of Sky Force.

As per reports, Chhaava is made on a budget of Rs 130 crore. Going by the box office numbers, it appears that the film will easily recover the budget and is on its path toward success. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.
