A couple of days ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took a decision that shook the entire world. It was a major shock for everyone when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to 'step back' as the senior Royals. If reports are to be believed, neither the Queen nor the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were informed of the said decision. When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released the statement, people were taken aback. They reasoned that they want to become "financially independent" and to help baby Archie grow up to be able to appreciate the Royal traditions and the family in which he was born. They want to divide their attention between North America and the United Kingdom.
The apparent 'Megxit' has sparked off a meme fest on Twitter. You know, how these meme-makers work. They don't need content they can make content out of anything. So, coming back to the memes, as per the meme-makers, the Royal family are inspired by Karan Johar's Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham. It had a similar plotline if you think about it. For those who have a weak memory, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Kabhie Gham starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan who played Rahul Raichand in the film belonged to the affluent family while Kajol's Anjali was from a middle-class family. Rahul marries Anjali against his father's wishes and leaves his family. See, just a twist that, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent millions of pounds to marry Meghan with the Queen's blessing.
