Chaalbaaz in London movie has been a talking point since morning. We brought you a scoop just a couple of hours back wherein we told you that producer Manmohan Shetty was toying with the idea of remaking the Sridevi-led 1989 blockbuster with Alia Bhatt stepping into Sridevi’s shoes. But it didn’t happen.
What happened was that Pankaj Parashar who had directed the actual, wasn’t a part of Shetty’s dream, had gathered a script and landed up at the T-Series office to keep his story and screenplay greenlit which he asserts is not a remake. Talking to ETimes this evening, Parashar said, You can’t show Basti and chapbook in today’s times. This time it’s 80 percent in London.
