Coolie No 1 Movie Story
Jeffery Rozario (Paresh Rawal), a Goan hotelier desires his daughter Sarah (Sara Ali Khan) to get hitched to a ‘stinking’ rich man. When Pandit Jai Kishen (Javed Jafferi), a matchmaker brings a marital relationship proposition for Sarah, Rozario humiliates him and the young boy’s family since “inn logon ka rishta Pehle se gareebi ke saath judda hua hai.”
A furious Kishen who considers his self-regard to be his pride chooses to teach him a lesson and discovers a best opportunity when he discovers Raju Coolie (Varun Dhawan), a railway porter. On the other hand, Raju is currently smitten by Sarah after having a glance at her picture.
Hell-bent on seeking vengeance from Rozario, Jai Kishen convinces Raju Coolie to woo Sarah by impersonating a billionaire, Raja Kunwar Mahendra Pratap Singh. The greedy Rozaria falls victim to Jai Kishen-Raju Coolie’s conspiracy and winds up getting his daughter married to Raju. On the other hand, love falls between Raju’s mechanic pal Deepak (Sahil Vaid) and Sarah’s sibling Anju (Shikha Talsania).

Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No 1 movie opened to typical reviews by critics but it managed to have record viewership the greatest ever on Amazon Prime in India beating Mirzapur with approx 30 Lakh views worldwide.
