Movie Story
Vikram Vedha is the story of the cat and mouse game between Vikram, a cop, and Vedha, a gangster. The story inspired from the popular Indian folk tale of Vikram-Betaal with the characters borrowing their names from them as well. When the remake was announced, many fans of the original were skeptical given the regional tone of the story and plot. Some of those concerns were assuaged by the fact that Pushkar-Gayatri, who directed the Tamil film, are returning for the Hindi version. However, many fans wondered if the remake would be watered down in any way.
The story of a cop, who is on a hunt to nab a gangster. Things take a turn when the gangster voluntarily surrenders himself and tells the officer his back story which challenges his perceptions of good and evil.

Hrithik Roshan shared the news on social media handles, and also shared a wrap-up photo with the directors and Saif. He wrote a long note as the caption, in which he thanked the directors, his co-stars, including Saif and said that since the film shot during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were a lot of challenges and uncertainties. He called his journey as “frightful and delightful” as a skydive.
